As a cultural tour guide from Hoi An, with a keen eye for authenticity and value, my recent stay at Maris Hotel left me with mixed feelings regarding the luxury versus cost aspect. the room, although adequately sized with modern amenities like a flat-screen TV and panoramic windows, lacked some finer touches that one might expect in a luxury setting, such as a well-stocked mini-bar or ironing facilities. However, the cleanliness and comfort were commendable. The hotel's location near the beach and main tourist attractions was undeniably convenient, offering easy access to local shops and restaurants. While the rooftop pool and sauna were enjoyable, they didn't fully compensate for the slight lapses in service. Overall, Maris Hotel provides a decent level of comfort and convenience at a reasonable price point. For those seeking a blend of affordability and modern amenities, this hotel may suit your needs well.
